Prayer is most effective when you pray with insight from the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to pray through you. God gives revelation and we need to pay attention to and sense where the Holy Spirit is leading according to God’s vision.
Create an atmosphere of worship in which the presence of God finds a home this is when healing happens. Prophecy=be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and speak/do what He says.
Plead the Blood of Jesus in the Name of Jesus. The Blood is the finished work of the Cross. The Blood cleanses and protects (plead the Blood continually). Speak words of life, continually walking in God’s Strength. God’s Glory is His presence-the Blood reconnects us to His presence.
When you are born again, your spirit is saved, but the soul (mind, will, and emotions) and the flesh must be put under the spirit daily. Continually plead the Blood, walk in love, be a doer of the Word, apply the authority, the Name etc. Wrong thinking/wrong confessions/actions open a door to the devil in your life.
Feed the spirit by meditating and speaking the Word of God. We receive faith by reading the Word, ask the Holy Spirit for boldness in prayer.
Jesus is our High Priest and intercessor, the Holy Spirit helps us to intercede as we should (helps with our infirmities, what we don’t know). Prophetic intercession is prophesying God’s revelation/will/Word. We can intercede for the infirmity of sickness and for other believers as well.
To intercede we must walk in love, sacrifice our lives (time, energy, the world-usually not as a martyr), and intercede out of a burden and heart of compassion. Pray in the Name of Jesus, break the power of the devil over their life, and claim their deliverance from satan’s blindness. Claim their full salvation in the Name of Jesus. Getting people to see who God really is, is the most important thing. Identify with the person you’re praying for. Intercede for the lost until you get a note of victory and pray that they would mature in Christ.
God is slow to judge (desiring repentance) but will bring judgement to cause repentance. God (who is holy), must ultimately judge sin/punish sin and cannot tolerate it. We are to be faith-filled overcomers.
