You may need to first uproot any strongholds in your life (pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to you). Rebuke the enemy by taking authority over him with God’s Word. Be deeply rooted in the Word, continually pray, walk in love, grow in faith etc. The enemy will try and ‘test’ you, so keep your spiritual armor on, be deeply rooted in God’s Word, take authority and you will ‘win’.
Believe to receive the promises of God in His Word and then speak His Word over your life/circumstances. Abide in Him- we have our authority in Him, so pray according to His will. Submit the flesh, cast down negative thoughts/confessions. You don’t need to preoccupy your faith with your needs-trust and believe for the promises of God and He will take care of you. You have what you believe, so be positive. Your walk with God will grow as you continually listen for His voice. Most of the time this is an internal voice in your spirit. Fasting is another way to grow closer to God and receive answers to prayer. You can drink only juice or water-even if you have a busy schedule, it is a mindset that you have to have. When you have a deeper walk with God it is easier to do this. Confirm in prayer with God that you are wanting to do this and set aside a day, or until a certain time of day. He will honor your fast/prayer when you do this.
A relationship with God touches every single aspect of your life. Obey God in the smallest of tasks; no matter what position we hold we can mirror the character of God. Even in the daily tasks you can minister to others by doing each task unto the Lord (the Lord’s Kingdom is within you).
Continually seek holiness (seeking God), share His love, grace, compassion, and truth with those around you. Holiness is a process of sanctification, worshipping God and it is how we are continually conformed to Christ’s image as a process of putting down the flesh, growing in our relationship and faith in God etc. Your faith grows when you are deeply rooted in God’s Word and you trust Him with every aspect of your life, including-relationships, health, finances and daily living (pray, listen, and act; know, believe, share).
